STEM Scholars camp is underway
Thanks to your support, we have 110 students in this year's camp that now is underway. The camp is roughly 60% science majors and 40% engineering majors. These students, 1/3 of whom are the first in their family to attend college, are very appreciative of the support you have provided for them to attend this camp. Here are some pictures of our students during the camp this year. The camp runs through Tuesday. Today, students got a lecture on how math is used in engineering and musical instrument design with a talk entitled “Forensic Engineering in Natural Disasters” by Dr. Brun Hilbert, UNO alumnus (BS in Mathematics, MS in mechanical engineering). Thank you again for your donation!

We did it with your help!!!
I'm very proud of your support in helping us reach our fundraising goal! You were one of 69 donors that helped us raise $13,605 to keep the STEM camps for incoming freshman affordable! Registration just closed and we currently have 112 students signed up for UNO STEM Scholars camp! We will send you an update on our demographics of our camp freshman and details about how the camps go this August.
Thank you for your support!!!
